ENHANCED CONTROL

(VDC, TCS)

Infiniti's Enhanced Control systems give you power
and control at the precise moment you need it most.
To help enhance rear-wheel grip when accelerating,
the Traction Control System (TCS) senses wheelspin
and automatically reduces engine output, or even
brakes the spinning wheel to help give you a surer
foothold. Acting in tandem, the Vehicle Dynamic
Control (VDC) compares actual vehicle cornering
performance to the driver’s input, adjusting power
levels and applying appropriate brake pressure to
individual wheels to help correct oversteer or understeer,
helping keep the vehicle on the steered path.

INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL

Your Infiniti provides a smoother drive in traffic with technology that helps you effortlessly manage your speed and maintain your distance to the car ahead. When traffic slows, Intelligent Cruise Control will automatically slow your vehicle to help maintain a safe distance, then resume your set cruising speed when traffic clears.

VVEL ENGINE

By remapping the delivery of power in the shape of a peaking wave rather than a short-lived burst, Infiniti has redesigned the way you experience acceleration. It is called Acceleration Swell: a progressive, seemingly limitless rush that builds faster the faster you push the 328-hp 3.7-liter VVEL^® V6.

REAR VIEW MONITOR

Confidence meets safety with the innovative Rear View Monitor. When you engage reverse, your vehicle information system displays images from a discreetly-mounted color camera on the rear of the vehicle. Colored guidelines help you see how close you are to objects, and tadjust as you turn to show your path. An optional Rear Sonar System emits a beeping tone and displays an icon on the RearView monitor display when an obstacle appears near the rear bumper.
