Moscow, Russia (October 23rd, 2009) Moscow played host to the premiere of the world-famous Cirque du Soleil VARAKEI show on October 23rd.
Cirque de Soleil and Infiniti demonstrate a natural fit. It could be said that the Infiniti brand philosophy of "Inspired Performance" is synonymous with Cirque de Soleil's extraordinary vision. Infiniti Russia, therefore, was delighted to be an official partner of the VARAKEI world tour, which thrilled Russia from October through December 2009.
The day before the VARAKEI premiere, a special Cirque Du Soleil "Toward the Sun” promotion declared winners at an Infiniti dealership in Moscow. All in attendance had the unique privilege to be the first Russians to preview extracts from VAREKAI. The exhibition included incredible hand-balancing performances and Icarian games that demonstrated feats of exceptional human strength.
To celebrate Infiniti's 20th anniversary, Infiniti owners were invited to a special performance of VARAKEI on October 24th. For this unique presentation, Infiniti owners could enjoy specially organized Infiniti hospitality. Each owner also received a special DVD edition of VAREKAI and a first edition of Adeyaka magazine.
All patrons of the Cirque du Soleil performances had a wonderful opportunity to mingle with Infiniti in an especially vibrant environment. Near the entrance, a special "Sun" installation presented the Infiniti FX. The show's concession area was decorated with Infiniti art. As well, a cozy, Infiniti VIP lounge in the Tapis Rouge zone welcomed guests with legendary Infiniti hospitality and allowed them to interact with Infiniti cars using a special, on-line visualizer.
