Commemorating 30 years of INFINITI
Thirty years is a milestone. That’s a long time to spend doing just about anything — but when you’ve spent the last three decades continuously innovating and constantly working to push the luxury automotive industry forward? Now that’s something really worth celebrating.
Back when the company was founded, we made waves in the automotive world with the debut of the INFINITI Q45. To mark the occasion, we spent the days leading up to our 30th anniversary out in the New Mexican desert at Spaceport America, celebrating three decades of revolutionary world-first technologies and all the electric excitement that our future holds in store.
Front and center at Spaceport stood the INFINITI Promenade, welcoming guests toward our Future Hub experience. Lining this walkway stood the new 2020 INFINITI line-up.
What’s a birthday party without a little fun? We turned Spaceport into a luxury-performance playground to celebrate three decades of INFINITI, scattering ride-and-drive experiences across 18,000 acres of tarmac, desert and dirt. It was every bit as amazingas it sounds.
What better way to get the inside track on INFINITI than by hopping into a 2020 Q60 RED SPORT 400 with INFINITI Americas Group Vice President, Jeff Pope, and putting the pedal to the floor? That’s just what we did at Spaceport America, and the result is an exciting look behind the curtain at what luxury, performance and innovation means to one of the leading minds behind the company.
